Fusion – Industry In The Streets

Fusion (nee Alain Clapham) is the founder of Industry In The Streets (IITS), a creative consultancy that promotes ethical enterprise and youth-driven innovation. IITS works with some of the brightest young minds in the creative industries to develop projects ranging from live events to seminars and marketing campaigns for organisations interested in re-imagining youth engagement.

Drawing on a wealth of experience across media, music and education, Fusion has earned a reputation for creating cross-platform projects that engage thousands of young people across the UK – from pioneering Urban Development’s ground-breaking music seminar & showcase Industry Takeover, to programming youth content and speakers for The Guardian’s first festival to curating Music Potential Wembley Arena for clients Barclaycard and CapitalXtra.

Fusion is also an experienced events management tutor who has achieved Grade 1 outstanding for delivery and is recognised by Ofsted for his pioneering work in Functional Skills. Fusion has played an integral role in developing Dv8 Training’s IAMDV8 Festival, The Roundhouse’s critical acclaimed OnTrack Events & Performance programme and most recently collaborating with Cospa and UK Youth to design and deliver The BIG Music Project’s Inspiration Sessions a UK-wide Roadshow engaging hundreds of young creatives across 10 cities.

A maverick producer with a reputation for musical innovation; Fusion has worked with the cream of the UK scene including Wretch 32, Beverley Knight, The Streets, and Estelle, as well as reggae legend Dawn Penn. Fusion is currently a member PRSF’s external reference group, advising on delivery of Momentum Music Fund, a £500,000 investment to develop the careers of talented artists and bands.
