Where can I find out about the rest of the city?

There is so much going on in Birmingham, from live music and fine arts to great shopping and treats for foodies. See the links below:

I’ve registered for Levitate Summit but I can’t go anymore…

Sad face! Although Levitate Summit is free, places are limited, so we want to make sure as many people as possible can take advantage of what’s on offer.

If you have registered on behalf of an organisation, why not ask one of your colleagues to take your place?

You could also give your ticket to a friend, and make them love you a little more. You could give your ticket to a stranger, and make a new friend that way. Either way, please take the time to cancel your registration through Event Brite – follow this link for guidance. It’s easy to do, and we’ll really appreciate it!

How do I get there?

Levitate Summit and Levitate Live are both taking place at The Custard Factory, here’s the full address:

Custard Factory, Gibb Street, Birmingham, West Midlands B9 4AA

You can find out where to catch live music events across the city during Birmingham Music Week using Birmingham Music Map. Pick up a copy anywhere you see a Brum Notes Magazine, or access it online right here.

Will there be food available at Levitate Summit?

We’ll be providing light refreshments for registered Levitate Summit delegates, thanks to the lovely folk at The Old Crown. Alfie Bird’s and Yumm are also great places to fill your belly, right in the midst of The Custard Factory.

Where can I find a place to stay during Levitate: Birmingham Music Week?

Always ready to champion Birmingham’s most eccentric and independent spaces, Levitate recommends the following sleeping spots:

Birmingham Central Backpackers

The Paragon Hotel
The Paragon Hotel was originally built by a Victorian philanthropist as a hostel for the workers building Birmingham’s waterways (more canals than Venice 🙂 )

The Old Crown
The Old Crown is Birmingham’s oldest inn. Independently run since 1368, it even has four poster beds. Kinky.

For the more adventurous amongst you, there’s Couch Surfing and Air BnB.

I would like to get involved, is there anything I can do?

Of course, we have a team of people involved in Levitate, from volunteers, workshop coordinators, performance artists, DJs, live bands and artists!

Should you like to get involved please email info@youcanlevitate.com, and let us know how you would like to help!

Is there disabled access at Levitate?

The Custard Factory venues hosting Levitate Summit and Levitate Live cater for disabled access, however for more specific information on venues featured on Birmingham Music Map, please contact the venues directly.
